Woodland Elf Huntress

It is amazing what you can find in the woods near Congleton!

Cahoma CreationsCahoma CreationsWoodland Elf Huntress If you know just where to look, and you go on the right day of the year, treading softly so as not to startle her, you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Woodland Elf Huntress foraging for nuts, berries and fungus in the undergrowth.

I was fortunate in having a guide for this adventure, Coahoma Creations, who took me along hidden paths in the woods to the spot where this particular elf is known to hunt. Shh... as we crept closer, there she was, darting between the trees, gathering the fruits of the forest. She didn't seem too startled by the camera, so I started clicking away.

I managed to capture well over a hundred images before she melted silently into the night.

See a small selection of my favorite images from the shoot here.
