So, why the title 'From wallflower to Hollywood star in under 2 hours'? I have often been told after a shoot that I have a knack of making people feel relaxed about being photographed. I'm not aware of how I do this, but I do love it when a new model, initially quite shy in front of the camera, quickly gains confidence and starts to enjoy it.
This was certainly the case with DeeDee this week. The shoot was a thoughtful birthday present for her, and although she came with a couple of outfits and some props, I don't think she knew quite what to expect. It helped having her friend Louisa suggesting poses from the sidelines too, but as you will see from the photos, she soon began to enjoy herself and her personality began to shine through.
Once she changed into the black outfit, there was no stopping her, and if you had joined the shoot half way through, you would be forgiven for thinking she had been modelling for years!
Thank you DeeDee. For the next one, we can start where you left off, with you full of confidence!
